Lyrics
That flag you walk past, though you may not know, is not limited to the confines of the canvas exhibiting her colors so
eloquently.
We recognize only three colors on our flag, but her ensign reflects a spectrum far surpassing what is visible with the
eye.
Our flag has been dyed with the dreams, hopes, aspirations, and even the blood of generations, willing to stand for
truth, innovative ideas, and our ideals.
Stationed there at her staff by the sacrifice of a breed of human born with remarkable reverence for liberty, She has
remained for a time.
From above, She has inspired a great many things, and aloft must She remain, to necessitate inspiration on our most
trying of days.
Through our sacrifice today, can we repay the sacrifices of our nation's past, and simultaneously transmit unto our
posterity, a likely cherishing of such a thing!
STOP... and look as She waves... there in the soft sovereign air... Not aggressively, but gracefully! Freely!
LISTEN... as She beckons us, Her People... that we might protect Her colors from ever fading.
